General information about the Relative Caregiver Programs offered through GNRC and other state programs designed to help seniors caring for children.
The Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC) offers the Relative Caregiver Program, which gives support to adults 55 years old and older who are caring for children under the age of 18 years old. Caregivers must be the primary caregiver to a child related by blood, marriage, or adoption.
Currently there is funding available to assist with:

- Tutoring
- Summer and day camp fees
GNRC can offer these programs in the 13 counties across Middle Tennessee including Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson. These services are provided in partnership with Family and Children’s Services.
